Life Has its up and downs. The key is to remain faithful and don't give up during the down times.
Well I am back in L.A to attend the Essence Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon as an exclusive media guest of the new Lincoln Motor Company! Lincoln is the exclusive automobile sponsor for this event. This event honors African-American Women who are pioneers in film and television. I love this event. Last year, the honorees were so grateful to receive an award from their community and peers. And I know I am going to need a tissue because their stories are so inspirational.
I arrived in L.A yesterday and of course the new Lincoln MKZ luxury sedan picked me up curbside. This was the first time I had seen the new Lincoln MKZ up close and it is indeed super luxurious. It has butter leather seats, lots of space (big enough for me and the luxe kids) and the ride was so smooth. We were gliding through the streets of L.A!
We checked in our super luxe hotel (more on this later) and later Lincoln treated us to a fabulous dinner at Ago in Beverly Hills. The food was simply delicious. Love.
I am sporting a new hairdo courtesy of my girl Lashonda. of Beyond Hair Extensions. It is so glamorous (perfect for L.A)!
This is what I wore on the plane:
White henely shirt, skinny corduroy skinny pants, gray Zara booties, and of course Stella and Dot renegade bracelets (gold and silver)
My look for dinner:
Karen Miller gray/silver sweater dress. Worn only one time before in Paris! Make-up Laura Mercier primer, concealer, tinted moisturizer; Napoleon Perdis smokey eye (dark purple eye shadow), Avon navy blue Mascara (love it), Estee Lauder blush and nude lips via Mac (Spite) and Sally Hansen nail strips "Queen of the Jungle"
Dinner at Ago
Private room. Do you see the vintage Lincoln on the screen? HOT!!
Private dinner in the wine room at Ago!
