One of my favorite quotes is: Success is failure turned inside out.
As I previously posted, I traveled to L.A. to attend the premiere pre-Oscar event, Essence Black Women In Hollywood luncheon. While there I stayed at the W Hotel Westwood and it was beyond fabulous.
I immediately recognized the front of the hotel from Entourage. There were many scenes featuring the front entrance and the hotel's interior.
When we arrived, a few of us had lunch poolside. It was in the high 70s and gorgeous. I especially loved the Ivy growing up the Hotel's wall. It is so L.A.
Westwood is simply chic. I have never been to Westwood so it was a real treat. It is where UCLA resides and I just could not imagine attending college there. I mean, when do you get any work done! Gorgeous city campus. I have never seen anything like it. There were gorgeous residences, pristine streets, and cute shops, cafes, and restaurants. Lovely.
I had a suite and it was gorgeous! Here are some pics!
I hung out with friends in the Whiskey Blue lounge and I swear I saw Robert Dinero...my friends disagree, but I know it was him!
The lobby was always stocked with brownies from the Bliss bar and fruit flavored water. It was by far one of the best W Hotels I have ever visited. Loved it.
